World Heart Day
is a Global Campaign for awareness on Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD),
including prevention and heart health on the 29th of September every
year. This is set up by the World Heart Federation in partnership with the World
Health Organization (WHO). The day is meant to sensitize people to live
healthy lifestyles to avoid heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular
diseases.
